Amanda has been teaching dance and choreographing for over a decade. She has had the pleasure of teaching at various outlets including middle and high schools, dance conventions, dance studios, universities, and more. She also dedicates her time to performing in and choreographing for theatrical productions. Her recent work includes choreographing “Young Frankenstein”, “Sister Act”, “She Loves Me”, “Annie”, and more. Outside of dance, Amanda has her degree and studied Child and Human Development and Psychology and uses this knowledge to better instruct students of all ages, backgrounds, and disabilities. Her dance specialties include jazz, modern, tap, ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, spoken word, hip hop, and many more!

Da’Venche Burks was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. At the age of ten, he enrolled in the Preparatory Dance Program at the Cornish Institute of Fine Arts in Seattle. As a full scholarship recipient, Da'Venche studied Classical Vagonava and Royal Academy Ballet Technique. While studying at Cornish for eight years, DaVenche received full scholarships to attend San Fransisco Ballet, School of American Ballet and Boston Ballet summer intensive programs. DaVenche attended the University of Wooster, Ohio where he studied The Art of Dance Instruction and Sociology. He then went to New York to study at the Alvin Ailey School of Dance. Mr. DaVenche left Seattle and moved to Redlands, California where he has resided for the last sixteen years. Mr. DaVenche continues to perform and choreograph.

Paige starting dancing at the age of 12, but from then on, she dove into the dance world with strong passion and commitment. She competed throughout Southern California for 6 years in dance. She has been in many theater productions throughout the Inland Empire.  Some notable productions are A Chorus Line, Into The Woods, Legally Blonde and Heathers: The Musical.  She is currently at sophomore at the University of Redlands and still manages to find the time for studies, theater and dance. She has taught at Dance Move Live for four years now.

Suzanne started dancing at the age of 17. She majored in dance at University of California at Riverside. She studied Ballet, Acro, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary, Modern, and Hip-Hop. She has a passion for dance and fitness and loves to see her students find the same passion!

Brennen was born and raised in Riverside, California and started dancing at the age of 7. Brennen became captain of Poly High School’s Showstoppers and while attending UCR, he competed with UCR’s KASA, VSA, Collective Faction, and 909 Hip Hop Dance Troupe. Currently, Brennen serves as an artistic director for the Sodium Project.

Trevor is a graduate of the contemporary dance program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He also spent time studying in New York and abroad at the University of Malta Dance Studies program. Notable teachers include B.J. Sullivan, James Sutton, Gerri Houlihan, Dwayne Cyrus, Elizabeth Corbett, Sara Procopio, Jen Nugent and Janet Lilly. He received his BFA in Dance and Choreography in 2015, and has since danced in several NC-based dance companies including ShaLeigh Dance Works and Lauren Kearns Dance Project. He has appeared in performances at NC Dance Festival and the American Dance Festival, performed in musicals, and recently completed a contract aboard Carnival Cruise Line as a dancer-singer.  He recently relocated to California this year to continue performing, teaching and choreographing.

While still competing she began her teaching career by becoming a teaching assistant which gave her many opportunities, including being part of the Las Vegas show “Legends in Concert”, choreographing halftime performances for the New York Knicks City Dancers, & traveling all the way to Norway to assist in master classes. Shelbie has been teaching all levels of Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Ballroom/Latin, West Coast Swing, Lyrical, & Acro/Tumbling.

Melissa Barrera is currently pursing a Master's in Psychology through Grand Canyons University online program. She works for Moreno Valley Unified School District working with emotionally disturbed students, a program she grew a passion for. Melissa has been dancing for 13 years in various styles including Hip Hop, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Heels. In addition, she has been part of multiple dance studios and dance teams including Josh3k, Elevate, Infuse, The MOB.

Rylee Schmidt is 15 years old and has been performing since she was 5 years old. Her first production was with her mom in Music Man, and has done at least 1-2 shows a year since. She began dancing when she was 4 years old and has grown up in a dance studio. She started teaching Musical Theatre this year with her mom. (She is the choreographer). She wants to pursue as many musical theater options as time will allow.

MaryAnn Schmidt has been involved with many community theatres throughout the Inland Empire. She has performed, directed, and produced productions such as A Chorus Line, Producers, Cinderella, Wizard of Oz, Jesus Christ Superstar, Oklahoma, Annie Get Your Gun, Steel Magnolias, Nunsense, Barnum, 110 in the Shade, Anything Goes, Music Man, and Fiddler on the Roof, just to name a few. She has been performing since the age of 12 and enjoys every moment.

Jaz has been dancing since age six with a background in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, modern, cheer and hip hop. She studied dance at Riverside City College and is currently training at Infuse Dance Studio. She's been teaching dance for 5 years now at studios and school districts. It makes her incredibly happy to dance and beyond happy to see students’ talents grow from teaching.

While studying at Cornish for eight years, DaVenche received full scholarships to attend San Fransisco Ballet, School of American Ballet and Boston Ballet summer intensive programs. DaVenche attended the University of Wooster, Ohio where he studied The Art of Dance Instruction and Sociology. He then went to New York to study at the Alvin Ailey School of Dance. Mr. DaVenche left Seattle and moved to Redlands, California where he has resided for the last sixteen years. Mr. DaVenche continues to perform and choreograph. She has taught at Dance Move Live for four years now.

He has appeared in performances at NC Dance Festival and the American Dance Festival, performed in musicals, and recently completed a contract aboard Carnival Cruise Line as a dancer-singer. He has choreographed works for emerging artists' concerts and hosted his own work in multiple local NC showcases. He has performed repertory by Keigwin and Co, Shen Wei Dance Arts, Bill T. Jones, Batsheva, and Forsythe. He recently relocated to California this year to continue performing, teaching and choreographing.

Suzanne started dancing at the age of 17. She majored in dance at University of California at Riverside. She studied Ballet, Acro, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary, Modern, and Hip-Hop. She has a passion for dance and fitness and loves to see her students find the same passion!

Brennen was born and raised in Riverside, California and started dancing at the age of 7. Brennen became captain of Poly High School’s Showstoppers and while attending UCR, he competed with UCR’s KASA, VSA, Collective Faction, and 909 Hip Hop Dance Troupe. Currently, Brennen serves as an artistic director for the Sodium Project.

Shelbie Nelson began dancing at the age of 3, training in Ballet and Tap. At the age of 10, she was exposed to various styles of dance including Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballroom/Latin, West Coast Swing, & Hip Hop. At the age of 11, she began competing in Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, and West Coast Swing. Since then, Shelbie has earned many titles including Young Adult World Swing Dance Champion & Dancer of the Year. While still competing she began her teaching career by becoming a teaching assistant which gave her many opportunities, including being part of the Las Vegas show “Legends in Concert”, choreographing halftime performances for the New York Knicks City Dancers, & traveling all the way to Norway to assist in master classes. Shelbie has been teaching all levels of Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Ballroom/Latin, West Coast Swing, Lyrical, & Acro/Tumbling.

Currently signed with Clear Talent Group in Los Angeles. Melissa Barrera is currently pursing a Master's in Psychology through Grand Canyons University online program. She works for Moreno Valley Unified School District working with emotionally disturbed students, a program she grew a passion for. Melissa has been dancing for 13 years in various styles including Hip Hop, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Heels. In addition, she has been part of multiple dance studios and dance teams including Josh3k, Elevate, Infuse, The MOB.

MaryAnn Schmidt has been involved with many community theatres throughout the Inland Empire. She has performed, directed, and produced productions such as A Chorus Line, Producers, Cinderella, Wizard of Oz, Jesus Christ Superstar, Oklahoma, Annie Get Your Gun, Steel Magnolias, Nunsense, Barnum, 110 in the Shade, Anything Goes, Music Man, and Fiddler on the Roof, just to name a few. She has been performing since the age of 12 and enjoys every moment.

Rylee Schmidt is 15 years old and has been performing since she was 5 years old. Her first production was with her mom in Music Man, and has done at least 1-2 shows a year since. She began dancing when she was 4 years old and has grown up in a dance studio. She started teaching Musical Theatre this year with her mom. (She is the choreographer). She wants to pursue as many musical theater options as time will allow.

Jaz has been dancing since age six with a background in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, modern, cheer and hip hop. She studied dance at Riverside City College and is currently training at Infuse Dance Studio. She's been teaching dance for 5 years now at studios and school districts. It makes her incredibly happy to dance and beyond happy to see students’ talents grow from teaching.
